Presentation
Since about twenty years we face up a paradoxical situation : on the one hand, an effort of social sciences to eradicate the term of "diaspora" of its connotation linked to a historical experience and to open it, as socio-historical category, to other situations of migrations ; on the other hand, an usage at the same time inflationary and sullied by this term joined with all kinds of migratory situations. Very happily, more recently, studies renewed in the field of migrations registered in our new context of globalisation, led the researchers to specify categories used to indicate situations and migratory contexts paying a particular attention in the clean experiments of the migrants.
The first one left seminar will be dedicated to the debate of the nineties on diasporas ; we will analyse 2 or 3 scenarioes.
The second part will carry on the analysis of some not Africain and Africain "diasporas" of Africa (justification and legitimacy of term), in the frame colonial meadow, in that of different colonisation and in that of the building of States nations. The third part will examine the nature of some new not Africain and Africain migrations of Africa which, since the end of the eighties, renew the question of working migrations.
Seminar aims at a sensitisation and at an opening at problems and modes of analyses which are not strictly recovering from the field of historical studies.
