Objectives of training, aimed competences and envisaged markets
Objectives
The general objective of the training is therefore to give an anthropological culture and common know-how on the problems of local development and of social development in the country or urban, to students in initial or uninterrupted training of various profiles.
1) In relation to the students in initial training, objective is of :
Acquire an expertise in the field of conception and of behaviour of plan of development ;
Be able to answer an invitation to tender as part of an operational research programme or in (professional and institutional) partnership with local actors of development ;
Conceive and follow researches applied in reply to social request and be able to exploit results for action ;
Be possible admit the social and cultural dynamics which organises the societies which are the object of the actions of development and to be capable of accompanying this dynamics so that these societies take part in the interventions the object of which they are ;
Be possible assess a plan or support a programme on the ground in a developing country.
These objectives of training explain the privileged place given to the questions of method and of practice. The importance given to the internship of ground (12 - 16 weeks) and to the research memo is, in that capacity, essential.
2) In relation to the adults (professionals of development in adult continuing education), objective is of
give to the professionals of development conceptual, analytical and methodological means allowing them to control better their own practice of intervention to return this one at the same time more efficient and better appropriable by the local actors ;
give them also the means to revalorize their experience by the workmanship of anthropological approach ;
give them finally the means to orientate or to reorientate their professional practice from a better understanding of contexts and of stakes of intervention and to offer strategies and steps of intervention adapted to the sustainable development.
Competences
The capacity to identify the social and cultural dynamics which organises the cohesion of the societies which are the object of interventions of development.
The capacity to accompany this dynamics so that these societies appropriate permanently the interventions the object of which they are.
This professional master offers therefore to bring to the future actors of the sustainable development in economic, political or social, rural or urban domains, additional competences which will allow them to control better their own practice of local intervention. Objective being to return this one at the same time more efficient and better appropriable by the local actors in the perspective of a sustainable development.
Envisaged markets
Leaders of plans of development in one NGO of south countries or of the North or for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Co-ordinator of programme of development to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or in one NGO of south countries.
Communal or regional representative for programmes as part of decentralised cooperation.
Various posts of responsibility in the administration of the regions with a measure of autonomy of the South.
Expert consultant to research departments or agencies of national or international cooperation.
