Licence 2 : ETH L02-ANTHROPOLOGIE of Africa (J. BOUJU)
Education consists of an introduction to the anthropology compared by the sub-Saharan societies. Á to leave big questions put down by the social and political trainings, systems of thought and of beliefs, identity and ethnicité, the programme of this course leans every year on the study of a different society which is illustrated, if at all possible, with film documents. To finish, they tackle the question of social change put down by changes économiquse and urban contemporary. (2nd semestre:13 sessions of 3 hours).
Licence 3 : ETH F12-ANTHROPOLOGIE of the Africain societies (J. BOUJU, B. MARTINELLI)
This education offers the theoretical bases of a training in ethnographic research on the societies of Western Africa. The instruments of research will be mainly approached in the study of the organisation of societies, systems of beliefs and religious practices, of the social and ethnic identity. The programme is illustrated with the long-term tendencies of the Africain west societies as evolutions and contemporary situations : cities, resources, development... He will give rise to research presentation recently published or ongoing. The detailed programme of course is distributed during the 1st session. (2nd semestre:13 sessions of 3 hours).
ETHQ03-ANTHROPOLOGIE of contemporary Africa (B. MARTINELLI)
Presentation and illustration of the redeployment of anthropology in the fields of the Africain social modernity : urban, technological, migratory, economic mutations, crises of the society and of powers, reconstruction of cultural references, intellectual controversies on cultures and societies, contemporary forms of cultural diversity and of collective identity etc. Research topics will be chosen according to requirements of structuring of knowledge by adjusting the questionings which suggests Africain actuality.

The master The master human and social Sciences, mention Anthropology is co-authorised between the university of Provence Aix-Marseille 1 and the Paul Cezanne Aix-Marseille 3 university. It is integral part of the doctoral School « Areas, cultures and societies » located at Home Mediterranean of Sciences of men d' Aix-en-Provence. The master is the culmination of the fundamental training in anthropology. He gives two specialities :
speciality Research 1 : Social and cultural Anthropology (1st and 2nd years)
professional speciality : Anthropology and jobs of the sustainable development (1st and 2nd years)
This master leans on one of the main French and European regional poles of education and of research in anthropology. The complementarity between education and research in Aix-Marseille allows to the students to acquire a high qualification level in anthropology with the insurance of a specialisation in touch with their professional plan.
The Master searches the master of anthropology is orientated to the jobs of research main markets of which are the public institutions of research (NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, IRD), higher education and Big Establishments (Universities, Grande École preparing teachers for higher education) as well as professions of development, of culture, of communication and of heritage which demand competences and upper research certificates.
The professional Master contacts professionals or future professionals of the sustainable development, in frames of management of plans, of cooperation, of public health and of humanitarian action. Information relating to the organisation of this professional speciality of the master mention anthropology is introduced in the bar of the professional master which the registered students are invited to consult. Specialities Research of the master are organised over two years of training.
