Modalities of admission and of inscription
Conditions of membership
Master 1
Access by certificates 
France : Licence of history. Certificate accepted in equivalence Third country : Equivalent of the licence of LMD in a domain of identical training or neighbour of speciality history.
Access by validation of knowledge
Possible access according to the previous professional financial year, according to envisaged procedures (VAE) and in accordance with articles L 613-3, L 613-4 and L 613-5 of the code of state education. A pedagogic committee, composed of teachers of discipline, examines files (to give evidence to the secretariat of history in Sorbonne, 2nd floor, until July 1st)
Master 2
Access by certificates Intermediate certificate of Workmanship, after opinion of the jury of admission formed by the teachers responsible for specialities. File of candidacy to withdraw to the secretariat of the 3rd cycle (Sorbonne, 3rd floor), before October 1st. 60 ECTS (credits) got as part of a Master 1 (S1+S2) belonging to a domain of identical or neighbouring training (got in France or in the European Union), after opinion of the jury of admission.
Access by validation of knowledge
Possible access according to the previous professional financial year (see above).
Inscriptions
The student (e) must first register or re-register administratively to the University (see modalities on www.univ-paris1.fr)
It is then necessary to him to obtain the permission of a teacher (teaching referent : Every professor or commissioner master of conference can be, of right, teaching referent) charged, between others, to run the writing of his memo.
He must withdraw a chip of pedagogic inscription to the secretariat of history of the University (Sorbonne, graduates 2nd).
Before delaying the chip of inscription, filled with the agreement of the teacher referent, to the secretariat of history, the student (e) must inform about it in anticipation the secretariat of the Master History of Africa in the centre of Africain Researches, 9, rue Malher (M. Daniel Leblanc, office 201), to make record data concerning it.
Master-recherche / professional master
At the end of the first year, studying them (e) s are possible head for a professional Master. This one will be chosen among the professional Masters offered as part of the Master History, or in link with the training followed in M1, notably : Master pro « History and management of heritage » Master pro « Development and cooperation » Master pro « Preparation in the competitions of Foreign affairs
