Description of the magazine
The Newsletter of APAD is a bilingual publication (French and English) to selection panel. The Newsletter publishes jobs of empirical researches driven in Africa in the field of development, so much on the social processes which underlie ongoing social transformations that on those more political which affect areas and public policies. Meant to be forum for an intellectual and scientific debate, he receives contributions of European and Africain researchers of development to favour the opening up of the national scientific communities. At origin, the Newsletter had as vocation to promote debates on methods, knowledge and know-how between researchers and technicians of development but with time, it was progressively transformed into magazine publishing two thematic numbers a year. The Newsletter of APAD is accommodated on the portal of Human sciences today Revues.org.
From January, 2007, the newsletter of APAD will leave definitely "paper" edition to remain an "online" international magazine which will take the name of "ARENAE" .
The editorial committee of the magazine is composed of the members of the office of the Association for the anthropology of social change and of development (APAD) who can call an external expertise according to approached subjects. The secretariat of edition of the magazine is shared between D. BALLY (SHADYC-MARSEILLE) and C. TESTANIÈRE (Donatecarcenter.com-AIX) ; also, editorial responsibility is shared between G. BLUNDO (SHADYC) and J. BOUJU (Donatecarcenter.com).
