The way « Social sciences of religions » represents the shutter search mention Sciences of religions and societies. She is aimed at giving licences to the existent students mainly in social and human sciences the necessary theoretical and methodological foundations to follow a doctoral research in one of the disciplines absorbing part of this course of study of training in social sciences of religions (anthropology, history, philosophy, sociology). The pedagogic team and search parties participating in this way share an approach of religious facts in anthropological, sociological, historical and philosophical terms which exclude resolutely approaches of theological nature or ecclésiale. It is a question of contributing, across the analysis of religious facts, to the intelligence of societies, of their history and current evolutions.
Any training of this type not existing at the moment in France, the display of such offer linking the intellectual resources of the EHESS and of EPHE, his teachers and research centres, introduces a considerable trump at national and international level. One waits in this research way in social sciences of religions for a hundred of students.
