Crisis, feeling of faintness, distress, bursting, dévoiement, these official reports relating to the state of anthropology were attributed in turn to wavering of concepts, to épistémologique uncertainty, in a change of "paradigms" in the eighties, in the disciplinary and institutional new divisions which followed. At present, the fragmentation so much discipline as the idea of anthropology seems to accelerate. The "new" ideological buildings born around the fifties in the crucible of cybernetics and of its plan of a total society tend to dominate the field of social and human sciences - new sciences and techniques of communication and of information, the comportementalisme, sciences of cognition, genetics constitute new horizon, firmly drawn, institutional research. Corrélativement, anthropology abandons little by little tracks cleared by his founders and, generally speaking, they attend a lack of interest growing for empirical sciences.
To help us to identify nature and to measure the largeness of these mutations, we offer to open a first debate around recent works which, since different observation posts (right, biology, history, anthropology), approach each in their way someone of supporters and adjoining of the major transformation which cross the sciences of the man. At the same time, these works question the anthropologist directly on points left in the shadow of his method (did they always measure well, for example, the implicit effects which could have the figurative usage of technical words borrowed from sciences where the study of phenomena, considering their domain of object, can justify tries of formalisation of mathematical type, such for example those of modelling or of simulation ?), and question him indirectly about his choices of objects.
